Sometime after the first appearance of M altro stylographs, F (fine) tip were made with transparent plastic parts of the nib.
We Finally found the correct article number.

THE FOUNTAIN PEN WITHOUT THE NIB!

Instead of a traditional nib, the altro has a unique new tubular tip.
The ball-shaped end glides smoothly across the paper.
And yet the altro gives the writer the individual hand only a fountain pen can provide.

The altro features:
-exciting new design in black, white or blue
-an unusual black chrome-plated spring-steel clip
-the sturdy tubular tip
-simple cartridge refill

Altro writes in any position thanks to the ball-end tip- hold it straight or slanted
Alto can be held lightly or used to bear down hard, for example for making carbon copies (just try this with traditional fountain pen!)
Altro is perfect for both right- and left-handers.
