Description

Art 222040 Stencil pen Nib 4 mm

Although at that time more modern drawing pens were generally used for technical drawing work, the cheaper funnel pens remain a professionally used tool especially for writing.
For this reason rotring constructed their own funnel pen.
Ink is poured into the nib trough the hole in the nib.

The funnel nib remains in the most favorable position in the clamp of the container due to the ring support, so that filling or airways cannot be closed.

In the 1970s changes in article numbers happened since there were too many items to number.
So from four digit changed to six digit numbers.
In the begining stickers with new numbers were added to older products and later printed on the new ones.

New numbering for stencil nibs was as follows:

Art 2201 = Art 222010 Nib 1.4/1.6 mm
Art 2002 = Art 222020 Nib 2/2.5 mm
Art 2203 = Art 222030 Nib 3/3.5 mm
