The enterprise KISSING was created in the year 1850. Under the name of the firm founder, company HEINRICH KISSING internationally acquired an excellent reputation within the range of the engraving and coining technology as well as the manufacturing of host baking machines.

Building shown on medal is a historical building connected with the Stellinger area of Hamburg which appears to be north of Altona.
The historic Stellingen town hall was built in a Baroque style between 1912 and 1913. It was the seat of the council of the independent municipality of Stellingen until this was incorporated into Altona.
