502 175 Tikky GT F0,5 mechanical pencil

metal, matt chromium plated, finger-grip area brown plastic
This sporty model is equipped with rigid protector sleeve, 4mm in lenght.
The GT F0.5 is loaded with 0.5mm polymer leads, grade HB.

This pencil is one of my favorites.
Second generation of GT pencil, after name Tikky was given to the series.
Metal body with brown plastic grip area and also plastic bottom part.
This version has plastic black mechanism as other tikky 0.5mm models from that time.
Using white eraser.
Rotring written on body in red, and 'rotring' on clip with new logo typefont.

Body is exactly the same as other Tikkies in size and shape.


This new version had many subtle differences with first gen model from 1979. (shown in photos)
Comparison:
-clip has a bit different, new model has less round shape at connection and it is a bit longer and less wide, letters 'rotring' received new logo font.
-body is same in size but now got writing rotring in red letters, brown plastic is just a little more bright.
-metal mechanism was replaced by black plastic mechanism, same as other tikky pencils. Mechanism on first model is sticking out of the pencil.
-eraser is white instead of green
-nib part look the same but it is not compatible between models since first gen had shorter twist
