No 3003 rotring Stencil Guide
Stencil guide found in vintage controlled lettering system.
This is quite unique find as well.
In aprox 1978. stencil guide was distributed in black painted metal and very much different than this.
So makes me think this is from 1976. or even earlier.


The cork tracks used on it seem genuine (but I never seen use of cork on rotring products before)...and with the logo and article number still glued on makes me think that they might have been distributed like this.
Or could this be very nice cork restoration work?

Article number is quite unusual for rotring products...No 3003
I wonder if these 4 digits fit into 1970s rotring system of marking the products.
Never found four digit article number for stencil guide...so maybe this is it.
Later article number was 545 635 (35cm stencil guide)

This guide is the part of the Lettering set that was used by architect Salvo Ferrara, Palermo, Sicily in the 1980s.
