532 112 Master Bow Compass RP with rapid adjustment

Rare first 1986. version of the Series RP 532 - high-gloss chrome-plated

with integrated pen adapter, extension bar, 0.5 mm fine-lead insert and lead box.
Lenght: 170mm
1 hinged leg, max circle phi 570mm
hinged (forked) leg didn't have a needle...but rather part of compass was used as shown on drawing.
This gave it phi 570 which was later 540mm.

'Germany' written on in.
I find this compass quite unique. With plastic red button for rapid adjustment, and grippy central wheel (phi 16mm) for fine tuning it is very practical to use.

Production started in 1986.
Later, 1988 version had a bit different red button (dented in in the middle), "W.Germany" written on the compass and plastic compass pen was introduced.
Also hinged leg got it's own pin later.

Material: brass, high-gloss chrome-plated.
