601 310 Circular Protractor 10cm

Description

601 310 Circular protractor 10cm

There are a lot of strange and rare things in this item.

Firstly article numbers starting with 6 are quite rare and seem to be used only for some rulers, protractors and triangles in in late 70s.
Smoked transparent acrylic is also rarely used in rotring items...almost never from the 80s forward.

I have seen this item listed only in Spanish catalogs and this particular item is distributed by Rotring Espana.
Letters and numbers are printed in silver color. This was unused item, careful stored and enclosed for 40 years, regardless of that silver paint has partly fallen of and you can see a little of silver dust in the package. Unfortunately silver color used is not long lasting which can be seen happening with old first gen. tikky pencils from similar age that also had silver color letters.

Also this is the only rotring protractor in style with two round holes.

At that time this kind of circular protractors were available in three sizes 10, 15, 25 phi, and with 90deg and 100deg graduation.
Was also available as half circle.
