158 546 Set of 4 isograph F in sec-o-mat

Sac-o-mat came into production in 1977. This particular set is from 1984. Interesting to see how old logo is still used on the box while pens have new logo used from 1983.
Production of Sac-o-mats stopped in 1986. when it was replaced with rapidomat dry.

The rotring sec-o-mot, based on the modular principle, is a system for keeping drawing pens on standby.
It keeps drawing pens ready for instant use the "dry" way without the constant screwing and unscrewing of caps.
The double hermetic seal in the swing-up socket makes for absolute air-tight closure.
The drawing pen (isograph, variant, micronorm in conjunction with a single ended holder)inserted into o socket after every job ond pressed firmly into the clamp, will obviate drying up. Occasional cleaning of the seal is easily accomplished by sliding off the lid of the sec-o-mat, removing the seal and cleaning same.
A cotton wool bud is useful for this exercise.

The sec-o-mat is normally used os o free standing build-up unit, however with the addition of the bracket, the sec-o-mot can be attached horizontally to the bottom edge of the drawing board.
