151 070 ISOGRAPH 2000 0,70mm
Year: 1978
Description
151070 rotring isograph 2000 technical pen 0.70mm
This is the lotest of the various tubular drawing pens to be manufactured by rotring and comes after years of technical research. It has
been made to overcome difficulties that generally arise with drawing pens during use, namely, drying up of ink around writing parts, inconsistent drawing ink flow and troublesome maintenance and cleaning.
The isograph drawing pen sets a new standard in ink drawing technology. lt's name reflects its close connection with the continuing international standardisations of lines and lettering used in technical drawings formulated by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
The isograph drawing pen carries the symbol 'm' and fulfills all requirements for
microfilming. The isograph drawing pen fits perfectly into the complete rotring system of drawing instruments, i.e. may be used with rotring ISO and micronorm stencils and with rotring compasses.
The line thicknesses rise in increments directly corresponding to the ISO 'A' paper sizes i.e. increasing in incremental steps of ?2 and thus match the increments of standardized drawing sheets. The self coloured ring of the finger grip indicates the appropriate colour code of the line thickness which is stamped twice on the finger grip as is the 'm' symbol.
The added advantages of the isograph drawing point secions are that the metal bush allows an unobstructed view of the drawing surface.
The bush is accurately machined and may be used in conjunction with additional instruments and automatic drafting machines having 3 mm or 5 mm barings.
The tip of the section is stepped to prevent ink from running under flat rulers or stencils and is specially hard chrome plated to give long service life.
It glides over the drawing surface without scratching.
The isograph has refillable ink reservoir. (making it more practical then rapidograph)
Its patented push-on sleeve makes for easy access to the ink helix for fast cleaning.
