R 502 743 Rotring Essential trio-pen data - grey

Input point, black ballpoint and 0,7mm pencil

"A pen for every occasion! A writing instrument that is always prepared to cater for your individual needs.
With four separate functions - a ballpoint pen, a mechanical pencil, a fine highlighter and even an input point for touchscreen use.
Versatility is the dominating feature of the rotring multipen-series:
between them: the Executive, Axtension, Artos and Essential multipens can fulfill every demand made of a writing instrument."

Essential model was available for a short time in three variations; black, gray (data) and blue (hi-lite). All with 0,7 pencil.
Rotring Multipens were produced from 2002-2007. while some changed versions started production again in 2017. Maybe some years are left to fill in.

Unlike other models essential's body is a bit strange since it was made from two different material parts in same color. You can notice this on careful examination how different parts age and take dirt differently.
Also strangely from the start and all the way to the end black essential model had different marks for pencil and ballpoint from grey and blue.
I have no explanation for this.
