501 769 1 model 201 mechanical pencil
Year: 1990

501 7691 - 201 Mechanical pencil - Feinminenstift 0,5mm

This strange pencil kept me confused me for some time now
From when I saw it seemed as handmade pen since it features tikky nib, mechanics and eraser cap.
But the slip has rotring logo and haven't seen any rotring pen body that looks like this.

Turns out that initial feeling was partly right. The nib is wrong, but only in sleeve size, since pen is 0,5 and nib is 0,7.
But that is only mismatch here.
It is actual rotring model 201 mechanical pencil offered in promotional range in 1990.
And yes...it had tikky mechanism, nib and cap.

It is also quite strange that took me this long to find this pencil and any info about it.
Eraser is missing or not offered at all.
