Description

250 203 p Artpen color Pink 1.1mm

In early 90s the production of artpens in color started. New series was called Artpen color.
They were available in 1.1 and 1.5 sizes.
There is no clear information how many colors were available, but there were many (red, green, blue, yellow, grey, pink, purple...)
Also the timeline of their production is quite unclear. Artpen color article numbers are unknown...so number mentioned above is not official.
What I found out that this is most likely first generation of artpen colors from the 1993.
They came in 4 light pastel color, pink, light grey, light blue and beige and only in 1.1mm size.
"W.germany" mark is on these.
Later came a lot of other colors as well.
At the end of gallery you can see it compared to later pink 1.5mm which has a bit darker pink color and "Germany" on clip.

Rotring ArtPen was the most successful modern fountain pen for creative writing and drawing.
Sketching, lettering and calligraphy are made easy by constant ink flow and problem-free maintenance.
Cartridge pen for both writing and drawing.
The chisel-tip nibs of these pens guarantee a constant line width in any one writing direction and noticeably different line widths when the writing direction is changed. Lines are sharp-edged with straight or angled starting and finishing points.
