Year: 1988
Description
Rapidoliner
The pen for all reasons: The rapidoliner.
On the one hand, this new rotring pen produces the precise line of a technical pen.
On the other, it can be held at a sharp angle for easy, natural drawing, sketching, and even writing.
With a longer cap-off time than a technical pen. The rapidoliner is the pen for every reason.
Try it, and experience the dense, crisp black lines of the rapidoliner.
Precise drawing
Use with straightedge, stencil, or compass as a precision drawing instrument.
Can be used with any rotring stencil or template.
The rapidoliner can be used with compass and attachment.
Rapidoliner ink is easily removed from tracing paper with a rotring "T" or "TB" series eraser.
Lively sketching
The rapidoliner can be held at a comfortable angle, for fast, fluid, lively sketching.
You don't need to hold the rapidoliner upright!
The rapidoliner comes in four precise line thicknesses.
The functional cartridge is replaceable and holds enough ink for
many hundreds of meters of dense black,
reproducible lines:
0.25 mm for about 2600 meters,
0.35 mm for about 1500 meters,
0.5 mm for 1000 meters,
0.7 mm for 700 meters.
Few years later 0.18 size was added as well.
Reasons upon reasons: The rapidoliner
has an enormous ink capacity and a simple
push-on cap, which seals the pen quickly
and tightly. And if you should happen to
leave it lying uncapped for a while - the
rapidoliner can handle it.
