The fully receding protector sleeve slides back 3mm into drawing point as the lead wears down.
This gives maximum drawing performance and affords the lead maximum protection from breakage.
metal, matt chromium-plated.

Old version of tikky S metal available changed to this model in the early 1980s.
Seems that it stayed generally the same from trough the 80s.
Early versions until 1983. old logo printed in red and I have seen a version without writing with red ring.

This amazing pencil, weighting 13.8g, is one of my favorites.
With the GT R 502 175 (non sliding metal version with plastic part) together - these are the first models from which of all of the later metal tikky versions and later 400 series came out.

This appears to be the version from 1986. in original box.
Eraser looks amazing, but not confirmed original (doesn't look like rotring erasers from that time), so if anyone has similar pencil, please let me know.
