551 120 Eraser B20

Description

R551120 B20 Large pencil eraser

Eraser for pencil on all drawing surfaces.

B type of erasers go way back to 1977. Strangly before that time Rotring did not offer any erasers.
This model that was produced only from 1977-1980. was not rectangular and also featured plastic holder.
Rare find today.

Rotring's flexible pencil eraser in white plastic contains no abrasives.
It just rolls up graphite and dirt particles, leaving the erased area clean and free from smudges.
All the eraser rubbings can be removed easily from the drawing. It con be used on drawing paper, tracing paper and drafting films.

A technical drawing is the result of careful design work.
The finished ink drawing should not only be correct in terms of technique and content, but should also create a neat overall
impression. Graphite dust and pencil guide-lines ore therefore carefully removed before the original drawing is circulated.
It is only when this has been done that on ink drawing gains maximum contrast ond clarity.

The rotring pencil eraser is ideal for 'rubbing over' on ink drawing, as it leaves the ink lines intact. Even fine lines retain their contrast.

Numbering seem to be not from the size of the eraser but quantity in box.
So B20 is large and offered in 20 piece box, and B30 small and offered in 30 piece box.
