Shortened Artpen - handmade

I am not sure how I feel about this.
At first I thought this is some kind of production prototype
The circle on the bottom is done very well...so it confused me at first.
It is the same mark as it was used on first rapidographs back in 1950s. So what is is doing on short artpen?

But upon closer inspection and research turns out it was hand made.
Rather interesting experiment to document.
